This week we are in The Ribble Valley for a relatively short walk starting from Grindleton, originally part of The West Riding of Yorkshire, it now sits in The Forest of Bowland, Lancashire.

In wet and misty conditions, 9 walkers set out from Grindleton on very muddy footpaths and trails, travelling north to Grindleton Fell and then back to West Bradford with a stop for lunch. Unfortunately, misty conditions obscured views of the countryside but at least the rain cleared. The walk finished with a stroll along the Ribble back to Grindleton and drinks at The Rum Fox pub.
