Before going to the pub for the Christmas lunch 15 walkers met in the Pack Horse Inn at Affetside for a short walk around the Bradshaw area near Bolton. Starting from the pub car park the group descended to Bradshaw via Top o' the Knotts Hamlet then continued along Bradshaw Brook and walked around Jumble Reservoir, stopping for Mulled wine and mince pies provided by Tracey, before climbing back to Affetside for Christmas Lunch at The Pack Horse Inn. This walk included some fairly steep paths which were muddy in places but fortunately the forecast rain didn't arrive until after the walk.
