In cold, windy but dry conditions, a large group of 20 walkers set off from The Great House Barn, Rivington for a 10 mile walk around Rivington and Anglezarke Reservoirs. The route first followed the shore of Lower Rivington Reservoir then we followed the road alongside Upper Rivington Reservoir and Anglezarke Reservoir before turning off across muddy fields to Healey Nab and White Coppice for the lunch stop. The return route followed the opposite side of the reservoirs through woods and fields back to the start. Some of the group stopped at the Rivington pub for drinks on the way back to the start.
