This week's walk was around Tameside. From Hobson Moor Road the route descended on footpaths through Swallows Wood to Arnfield Reservoir, where we stopped for drinks on the cafe terrace, then climbed to Higher Swineshaw Reservoir following the Pennine Bridleway. We then continued to Walkerwood Reservoir, stopping for lunch on the way, before continuing around Wild Bank Hill back to the start and the Waggon and Horses pub for drinks.
