In cold conditions, Gill Kent led a group of 14 walkers on a circular walk through the rolling farmland and woods of the Lancashire countryside, calling at Nab's Head, Samlesbury Bottoms, River Darwen, Hoghton Bottoms and Pleasington on the way, returning along The Witton Weavers Way back to the start. After the walk some of the group went to the Station pub for drinks.
