Alan Pilling led a group of 10 walkers on a 10 mile walk taking in 4 peaks in the High Peaks area of Derbyshire. Leaving Wash hamlet near Chinley, the first Peak was Eccles Pike where the group could see most of the walk. Descending through Whitehough and Chinley the next climb was up to Cracken Edge and the second peak, Chinley Churn North. Leaving the Edge the group descended passed Peep O Day farm before the third ascent which was to Mount Famine soon followed by the final Peak South Head with exceptional views from each peak. After the walk, some of the group went to The George and Dragon Inn in Charleworth for drinks.
