Tracey Parton led a group of 23 on this walk, on a day which was wet initially, but fortunately dry for the rest of the day. Underfoot it was muddy in quite a few places.
The route was initially south-west to Wardley Grange, Wardley Hall and Old Warke Dam and then north to Worsley Woods Nature Reserve, Roe Green and Linnyshaw. The route continued across the motorway to Kearsley, and finally back along the Irwell to the start.
